My name is Carmella Warby and my husband is Richard. 2022 we had a large house fire and it was very devastating. Unfortunately we had another company before it didn't work out well. Once we realized that the other group that we were with was no longer willing to do some of the work that was requested of them and I just tried to find companies that had really good reviews. I contacted a gentleman named Danny from Cleveland Water and Fire Restoration, Inc..
He came to the house and assured me that they would do what was right, that they were a Christian-based company which to some may not mean much, but to me it did. When I called Cleveland Water and Fire Restoration, Inc. they called back immediately. When they said they were going to be there at a certain time they were. He came. It was wonderful. Before he even was hired, before he even got the signature on the line, he had come here to look at my house and the pipes burst while he was here.
Leaking was in the basement and I had to call my insurance company and it was a real fiasco. He immediately, without even knowing if I was going to pick him or not, asked me, would you like me to call a plumber to help you out with this situation? But they worked wonderful when we did decide to sign our name on that dotted line. You know, they walked us through the steps and everything and I thought they did a very, very, very good job. Well, when we did decide to hire Cleveland Water and Fire Restoration, Inc., their job was finished.
You know, they did all the work that they needed to do. Keselman Group came in. It was just kind of like, you know, tag, you're it. It was very smooth. It wasn't like we had to go and worry about, okay, now we have to do more steps for the next procedure. It was just kind of seamless and it's really important. So if you hire one and need the other, having companies that work well together, people and craftsmen that work well together is really helpful. I guess my final thought would be that how is it at the end? Is it my home or is it just a house?
Well, Keselman and the Cleveland Water and Fire Restoration, Inc. made a house livable. Having them do that enabled us to turn our home back into a home and that's important because a house is just a house, but a home is where you really need to be. And I feel very at home now. I wasn't sure if I would be feeling very home now because of all the fire and stuff and all the damage and lost items, but I'm able to say that this is my home again. That's really important.
I hope you never have to have this situation happen, but if you do, it helps having somebody that's there that can do a good job for you.

A fire caused extensive smoke and structural damage throughout Carmella and Richard’s Mayfield Heights home. After an earlier restoration effort did not move forward as planned, they contacted Cleveland Water and Fire Restoration, Inc. We assessed the remaining damage and carried out the cleanup. Professional tradesmen rebuilt the affected rooms, with our project manager facilitating communications between the homeowners, the municipality, our suppliers and the tradesmen to make sure things ran smoothly and the timeline was followed. The photographs below show the completed rooms after reconstruction.
