Common questions

A few things you may be wondering.

Is flood cleanup only for basements?

No. Flooding can affect living areas, lower levels, and commercial spaces. Cleveland Water and Fire Restoration, Inc. assesses the affected rooms and materials, wherever the water has spread.

How is storm flooding different from a pipe leak?

The source of the water helps determine the cleaning, removal, and drying approach. Tell us whether water entered from outside, backed up through a drain, or came from plumbing.

Does removing the standing water finish the cleanup?

Usually there are additional conditions to assess. Surfaces may need cleaning, some materials may need removal, and moisture can remain in walls or floors after extraction.

Do you fix the source of floodwater entering the building?

We handle water damage cleanup and drying, with emergency board-up or tarping when appropriate. Plumbers, roofers, and other professional trades handle permanent source repairs.
